The MS looks awesome! As for the TA05 competing against top cars; rubber on asphalt; Why not? And I'm implying a reasonably hopped up one or an R, of course!.... Mod foam on carpet is a different story. But perhaps the CF double decks MS would be the answer to that! When you slap an aftermarket CF chassis on a TA05, it's not really a TA05 anymore. I've talked to some guys higher up on the food chain and they say the 05 will be a better car than a 415 when they find the right chassis for it and that it will be within weight. It's a pig with the xenon cf double decks... I wonder if those blue MS bulkheads will fit on the plastic or carbon tub chassis and how much they weight compared to the plastic.

The IFS one looks a little goofy. Why would you want the shocks inboard? You guys all know tamiya; more moving parts; more slop!... Raises the CG as well they way it looks in the picture.

I assume with the IFS version it will be for bodys that are slung very low in the front.

Default two car approach again?

so is tamiya taking the two car approach again? instead of the Evo series and 415 belt series...

its going to be 415/TA05 series? interesting to see if this car shows up at reedy in may.

05MS already has a narrower chassis than the tub version.

I count 16 screws on the topdeck!!!! there is no way that can make production yet.... 8 is a reasonable number.... however, it looks mean ..... ah... and I just got a 415msxx.... anyway, the MS seems much more "finished" than a xenon or kawada conversion though....

Now how will they mold that HUGE front splitter and intricate front end? And notice the Tamiya decals on the rear wing's endplates...

Either way, makes a sub-zero cool TC body Now I'm really really curious...how do they manage to fit a pushrod suspension on a TA05 front end?
This would be a great body for the F103gt car!

i called it back then max. i remember i posted somewhere (cant find the post though) that the 30th anniversary looked like a precursor to a potential TRF416 but now they just made it into the TA05MS either way.... let the preordering begin!

I "dig" Tamiya's enthusiam. Releasing two new TA05 Chassis platforms. The TA05 with Inboard Front Shocks - "wild". And the Dual Carbon plated TA05 MS - finally a worthy chassis for the TA05 design - its been a long-time coming.

Thanks to the Tamiya mole for giving the fans a look at the new chassis's.

Checkbook Please.

PS - Cannot wait to see when Tamiya releases the "New" TRF416 MSMSXXXR chassis later this year!
