I also bought a set of used FL coated Tamiya shocks that are in excellent condition.
My goal is to keep my spending to a minimum. In that regard, I'm still under $200. That's a far cry from the amount of money I spend for my Yokomo BD and LCG kits. I'm very pleased.

Would like to get one myself. Where did you order the kit from.
Thanks

SpeedTech R/C advertises a price of $124, however, the last time that I checked, there were none in stock.
Last, RC Mushroom (I think that's the name) advertises a price of $109, but I didn't want to wait for overseas shipping.

Finding
After cross-check RSR934 (49400) manual and TA05 manual. I think I'm safe to say, the Alum bulkhead is 99% match to TA05. I guess we will see TA05R in very very short time.
RSR934 manual: http://www.tamiyausa.com/pdf/manuals/49400ml.pdf
Beware the bulkhead screew hole on chassis. Also, check the parts number of other parts, same parts number with TA05.
I guess the only question left is: WHEN...

There are only few parts from TA05: Suspension, Spur Gear, pulley, diff joint, universal shaft, dampers.
The belts from the Porsche are different from TA05.

A TRF car could be in the works, All that would need to be changed from the Porsche to a regular wheelbased sedan would be upper and lower decks, and belts. Not to far fetched to think Tamiya hasn't thought of that.

Fan/heatsink
HI guys
See Jaybee's pic of his TA05 and noticed the fan but there doesnt appear to be a heatsink. Anyone got any ideas? Also does anyone know the part numbers of the tamiya Nsx and Skyline liteweight bodyshells?

Thanks for that. My TA05 weighs 1525g approx with a protoform shell, not weighed without wheels, batterys etc. All Tamiya too can't find any where else to lose weight on it now
