I hope someone answers the graphite ya or nay. Mine is all plastic right now. But I have the graphite bits sitting right next to it. I'm not gonna change everything and then change back!!! Especially when my TCS is next weekend!! I got my stuff from SpeedtechRC as well... Hmmmmmm to be legal.. or not to be legal.... that is the question......

Just call Tamiya USA and ask.

Heck, I remember a couple years back at a TCS a few A$$holes threw such a fit that the stock vinyl tires in Spec TL01 weren't working, that the Tamiya USA guys allowed them to run Type As!

I think since it WAS available IN the US...regardless of where it was distibruted from, it should be legal.

Well I'm home from work. Tamiya emailed me and said the new graphite bits are NOT TCS legal. They will not receive shipment until 3~4 weeks. And only then, when they receive them (and available to public)... they will be TCS legal. Oh well.... I'm glad I didn't put mine on the car yet seeing as how I race next weekend at Frederick, MD. But it should be legal for TCS in Laurel, MD... so I'll have to wait til after next weekend to put it all on....

Oh, and good job to Tamiya on the very quick reply!!

Glad you heard back from them. I emailed them a question early yesterday and still haven't heard back. Hopefully they'll get around to me soon.
