I'm not really looking at it for strength purpouses, I just like the way the thing looks.

Glen G -

I took your electronics mount idea and made it out of .020 lexan, seems pretty sturdy, you might want to give it a shot, rather than mounting them right onto CF which could cause glitching problems.

EA, how about building the spool to fit Corrally blades?! Less wear and maybe less chatter.

Spool will be available soon. Will the Corally blades fit the stock CVD pins on the yokomo? If so that wont be a problem at all!!!

The IRS pin cushions will fit the MIP's cvd bones...that will also help reduce wear on the sppols....

Yeah, the Corrally blades fit the stock Yokomo pins and Tamiya pins as well. But you need to enlarge the diff cup slots to make them fit.

Hey Jimmy....Thanks for the info...I'll be sure to get that put it...The caps do tear up but they are a LOT Cheaper than a spool!! That will be in there for sure.

And for that awsome idea I'll send you a free sample when they come in!!

What material are you going to use for the spool?

Ran the BD last sunday... i can definitely say that this car handles like a dream, on a low to medium bite track, my set-up was not that far off... too bad a broken spur forced the car into retirement in the last final heat.

things that i changed in the car from the box set-up ... i ran a short wheel base and softer (blue) springs in front... and lowered the rear roll center by removing the blue spacers .

in removing the foam, does the bladder require more maintenance? does it it wear more easily?

... or does the shocks require more rebuilding?

I can't say I've noticed the shocks need any more maintenance.

I normally rebuild my shocks before the start of a season, and don't touch them if they don't leak.

Re Corally blades - Kilruf has it spot on.
