I must say I prefer the black as well - one reason I bought the original gearbox RS4 (over the TA01 and YR-4) was because of the black hardware, chassis plates and plastic.

I hope the cyclone will be like another pro4, great out of the box. But still $450 is pushing it.

what's the biggest difference in having the belt over the upper deck instead of having it under the deck...i noticed this was the biggest change from the 415msx...and it seems to be the main choice for companies now (yokomo, hpi/hb, tamiya, corally)

Since the belt doesnt really change position on the car (only the deck moves) hence you have an overall lighter and lower CG car.
