I'm still thinking how antiroll bar can affect handling characteristic. It's true that it can lift the arm on the opposite side, but when i attached the shock, even 1.6 bar and the softest spring, it can't move the other side at all.

The anti-roll bar does not have to "lift" the other arm to be functional. Take both shocks off one end of the car and lift one of the arms. Take notice how easily the arm lifts. Now, hold one of the arms down and try to lift the other one. You should notice a difference in the amount of force needed to lift the arm.

Probably because they were asked not to. They aren't new parts, they are prototype parts, that's not the same thing.

I was wondering what is the safest way to clean the oil out of a diff to get it ready for new oil? I have a diff with 2k oil and it literally sticks in the teeth of the gears and wont just pour out. I worry about using motor spray on plastic parts.
Any suggestions?

The easiest way to clean it is to remove all of the outdrive components and then you will be able to spray it out with motor spray without harming the oring.

You can use motorspray with the Xray plastic. I have seen some off-roaders, mainly with really think 1/8 scale fluids, dump in 100wt shock oil first. This loosens the fluid and make it flow better. Then motorspay the parts clean. Personally I just use blue towels to absorb the fluid and again motorspray clean.

Just remember do not spray the rubber/silicon seals.

VM&P Naptha from Home Depot (in the paint department)... not sure on the o-ring, but I used it all the time to clean out my XRay 1/8 buggy diffs without issue. Just dump them in a glass jar and swish it around.

I assume that the o-rings in both diffs are made of the same rubber compound?

OK so I will totally disassemble and take the o-rings out and then spray with motor spray. I'm glad I checked because I was going to just open up the two halves of the diff and spray it out. Thanks for the tips.

I noticed that the big o-ring between the two halves can't be reused because it swells up and won't fit back in its slot so I ordered replacements. I'm guessing this is normal?
