Now on a secondary note I agree there are always things to dress up cars or make things look nicer that would be great on all kits. I guess all I am saying is that I chose the Xray kit and I'm not looking back cause the only thing that seems close is the Tamiya. But no offense to the car it seems to break things upon touch and parts aren't ready available here. The Associated seems to lack ability when higher traction situations. The HPI seems pretty cool but parts are a biotch by us. The Top goes with the same thing on parts availability. I know there are more but simply put I'm glad I bought it and I do wish it came with more adjustable shims that were aluminum. Thats really the only thing I personally upgraded right out of the box. I tried the car with all the stock stuff first other than those.

Hi guys,

I hope some of you can give me some advise how to get my car setup better.

Basicly, I have some enormous oversteer and I can't figure out why.

I run the same tyres as the most on our track (sorex 28r)
I use the same springs
I use the same oil weight
I use the same tire additive

Practically everything is the same, but the rear end has next to nothing grip. The front end grip is fenomenal and so is the steering. But the rear end keeps kicking out and it's more of a driftcar now

Hope you can say something useful.

But check your dual rate setting. U might have to much steering throw being used.

Does anyone know of source that has a motor mount that allows you to use the bottom hole on the motor? Example is the motor mount of the TC6, it as 3 mount slots for the motor, one of them being at the bottom.

Well the front and rear of the car are related and the reason why the car turns so well is because the rear is so loose. As you begin to get the rear of the car more traction then you will start reducing steering in the front. The amount of steering you use can have a dramatic affect on the amount of traction the rear end will be able to sustain. Reducing the amount of steering the car has will be the first suggestion, but also make sure that the car overall is in good working condition and does not have any binds or general issues. Remove the shocks and make sure all of your arms move freely, make sure the front steering blocks move freely, check the bearings, make sure the sway bars are installed correctly, check the camber, and check the shocks to ensure you do not have one blown out or a ripped bladder. It could be a million things...try to eliminate one thing at a time and you will probably figure it out.

It was actually a T3 11. I used 52 ecs's up front and 50mm cvds in back with a gear diff.

You will not go wrong with any of the Exotek stuff. Their chassis is beautiful and is 2.25mm. I ran it for the first time on Sunday on a huge asphalt track. The Nats track actually and it was very good. The set-up wasn't right yet. TQ 17.5 and second in the main cuz i drove babboon style! Oh and yes...plastic shocks.
