Got the exotek IFS parts, awesome. I'm too poor to buy the exotek conversion :P, just trimmed my mckune conversion a little bit and it fits very nicely.

Looks good! What did you have to trim?

For those of you who might now know, we carry 3Racing as well as Exotek and have a very good stock of parts including all of the new Exotek parts. You can see our selection of parts here
http://f1paintlab.mybigcommerce.com/fgx-hop-up-parts/
I am in the middle of building up a car that I think will turn heads, just need a couple of small parts and it will be done.
Also we are the importer for the Pardus spec tires. I have the sets to fit the FGX inbound, should be here Friday. They are $26.99 for a set of 4 and 1 package includes rims, tires, and inserts. These are the spec tire for the UF1 Midwest series

has anyone tried the Associated shocks on the IFS yet? If so, what springs/pistons/oil have you been happiest with thus far?

it's shown in the 3rd and 4th picture, the lower part of upper deck need a bit of trim, the upper one likes to have a tiny bit of trim. Most of the work is done to the anti-roll bar mount, which both need some, and requires symmetric trim in the correct position to correct depth.

Thanks. If I decide to go that way with mine, at least now I know it's possible.

Hi guys, had our first 2013 F1 race last Saturday. Sakura FGX in 2nd and 3rd place, still alive and kicking.

21.5T (left) and 540 Johnson (right). Brushless ran with FDR limit of 3.3 while 540 silvercan at 3.7.

Nice start for Team Sakura. It almost became extinct (as most changed to Tamiya F104s). But maybe now we will see a revival.

Ok FGX gurus. Still building my first FGX - taking way longer that I would like (not the cars fault - family ).

So, I got the IFS and was building it. I came to the step to put on the upper A-Arm (which I beefed up) and it looks like I need to dremel them so they fit around the piviot points for the shock system (see round thing that shocks and lever arm are connected to in Nicholasxuu's first pic above).

Is this correct or did I screw something up?

Thanks

No dremel needed, I've built the stock IFS before this, it's all fitting well.
There's some caster adjustment, try move the blocks a bit and make it fit.
