Now get CraigX's setup from Cleveland. In my opinion much better than Paul's.

Agreed, Craigs setup has been working great for me every time I put it on the track.

Hey everybody,

I just got a JRXS but want to spend a little bit more time with my XXX-S before I start messing with the new car (It's been a while for me ). I posted this on the XXX-S thread, but it seems kind of dead, hopefully some of you guys who had the XXX-S before the JRXS might be able to help me out.

"I know the alloy CVD bones don't hold up too well in mod (elongated drive pins), but how about with a 19t? I am not a hacker, but I do occasionally tap a board so if they're easily bent, I might hold off. Just looking for a way to shed an ounce or two.
As far as alloy hardware (I have tons of alloy screws), think they'd hold up ok for the average Joe, or am I asking for trouble?

Also, anybody have a spare set of threaded shock bodies they're looking to get rid of (sell)?

Thanks"

Sorry for getting off subject, any input would be appreciated!

RCevolution- The durability of aluminum CVD's in this car is very good, in my opinion. I haven't had any problems with breakage or the elongation of the pins in the cups...they should last you awhile in stock/19T barring any devastating impacts. By 'alloy' screws, do you mean aluminum? I haven't used aluminum screws in this car, so I can't speak from personal experience, but I don't think it would be a problem.

Losi is now offering a full set of threaded shock bodies for the JRXS, and part number is: LOSA5301 10mm Shock Set (4).

Of course I'm very happy with the Team Losi wrench and driver sets I own. I hope this helps.

Sorry I should have been more specific, I was after the sizes of hex and nut drivers, eg .050, 1/16, etc. Thanks for the quick reply though

Oh, sorry. LOL

You will need:

nut drivers--11/32, 1/4, and 3/16
hex drivers--3/32, 5/64, 1/16, and .050

Hope this is better!
