I'll probably just stick with the alum up front, my club isn't that competitive. If I make it up to mid B I'll be happy

I'm glad indoor onroad exists, indoor offroad I have to cross the boarder for. I plan on just proving you don't need the latest and greatest to do well at the club level. Hopefully the TC4 is the ticket.

Check out the VTA videos here on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2A-...NajpQ/featured) for proof you don't need the most expensive car to be competitive.

- The green/white Pegasus Mustang is a TC4 (me)
- The white w/green stripes HPI 66 Mustang is a TC4
- The gray w/black hood is a Tamiya TB04 Pro (plastic chassis/shaft drive)

Last night these 3 "cheap" shaft drive cars turned the fastest laps in the A-main. It is too bad there isn't a video of our main because all 6 cars were evenly matched. Top 4 ended on the same lap within a few seconds of each other. The other 2 just had 1 or 2 small mistakes or they would have been right there too.

I would say this car is pretty dialed in....!!!

It's nice to see folks stick to the older cars and not buying the next flavor of the month touring car.

Once I went with a front spool I had to use those. I ate up a set of the stock ones in two heats. They are from the NTC3.

There is nothing wrong with buying a new car. Each individual has their own reason for buying a new kit.

I also think it is fun to take an old chassis and make it competitive. I do have a soft spot for tub chassis, shaft drive. Rock on TC4 racers. I wish Associated had not discontinue the TC4 rather update it to metric.
