Team Associated TC4
On a big track, I would try 60t spur(48p) & 43t pinion(48p)... FDR 3.48 to 1.... You can go higher with a 55t spur, but might lose in the infield...

Hey guys, I have searched all over and can only fin d the opposite of what im looking for. VTA weight is 1550g and the TC4 weighs in at 1440g. Where is everyone placing their weight. Is it possible to use the center spline under the driveshaft. Do the associated weights fit in there? Would the weights be better in the rear, or down the centerline. Our track is tight, indoor carpet, with only one high speed turn. Thanks

thanks rojna but im looking for more of a carbon fiber piece.
Are there any must have parts to get if I get the tc4 for vta ?
Tech Fanatic
You can use a TC5 carbon fiber brace on a FT TC4 with the TC5 mounts, you will need 31254 & 31256. You will also need to do something to keep the lipo from sliding around, I use a diggity lipo tray with the TC5 brace.

the tub car has seven slots and I run my pack in between slots. I think i'll just buy some carbon and machine one. does anyone know if the spur gear hub from the tc3 will fit the tc4?
Tech Fanatic
TC3 spur gear hubs fit the TC4.

Gotta quick question for you TC4 guys.
I just bought a brand new club racer. I already had some FT threaded shocks. These had long ballcups installed. I thought these were the wrong parts for the shocks. I removed the cups from the club racer and installed them on the FT shocks. Installed the FT shocks on the car and the car sits on the ground?
Are there different length shock ends for FT shocks and the stock plastic shocks?
They have the same part numbers in there manuals.

Well to answer my own question. The shock shafts were different lengths.
The FT shocks have a shorter shaft than the stock plastic bodied shocks.
