Is this just for Touring Car? What about 1/12th scale, 10.5t/13.5t 1S? Thanks!

Thanks for the guidance, would you change this at all for 1s vs 2s applications? would it make sense to try a higher torque rotor for WGT compared to 1/12? is your green hitorque rotor only suggested for 2s?

Has anyone got any specs and settings for running a Z3R 17.5 with a Speedpassion Reventon PRO w/stock1 software? in boosted stock on a large track with long straights, we run at west coast model RC, the weekend just gone we all got our asses handed to us by a guy running this motor on an orion speedy, he even smashed the track record by 4 seconds or so! taking it from 20laps 6m 2s to 21laps 6m 15s!
Im looking at getting one of these to try and take it to him in stock, I've finally realised how slow the SP V3 motors are in comparison

Can someone point me in the right direction with for 17.5 blinky, tekin rs med to med/large track? I can get up to pace but I know there's much more in it.. Usually I run 88 spur and 45 or 47 pinion with 30-35 timing and its around 150-160, I was told not to go over 160

If your not running a fan. You should be able to gear more with one. I've noticed these motors run well hot. But, only practice for 5 or 6 minutes. What ever your race lengths are. And let it cool. I've had these motors at close to 200. Keep the fan on it when your done to help cool down. In blinky you really have to find everything you can in your car. Don't let it scrub in the corners. And try not to use push brake often. Run 30degrees timing and start your gearing around 3.8 to 4.0. Hope this helps

Everything helps thanks. I tend to not use a fan only because f I can get it to 160F without a fan then 160 with a fan is like 200 without and it's still working hard but the fan is keeping temp down..
Let me rephrase I don't use a fan while finding the right gearing

I was wondering if Thunder Power can tell me if the Mod motors, particularly the 4.5, are designed for more torque or more rv's compared with other motors like the LRP's etc.
In other words, should I gear them up and let the torque of the motor do the work, or gear down and let the rev's and timing do the work?
Thanks

after reading and asking, i have gathered that the thunder power 13.5s like to rev (High fdrs) correct? what is the max rpms you shouldnt aim to go past. when i do a data reading each run i have seen rpms as high as 60k is this about right?
im running 13.5 boosted standard rotor

As far as what is the best rpm for performance...the answer is whatever consistently results in the best lap times for you car-track-ratio setup.
