What is a good gearing for a parking lot track ,sugar water? I'm running a tc6 with a Dualsky Z5 17.5.

I think 4.0 would be a good place to start assuming you are running blinky mode. If running with timing unfortunately I am not familiar with Dualsky motor so I could not give you a proper answer but for blinky I think 4.0 as long as you check the temp should get you in the ball park with about 30 degree timing on motor.

Hi Will,

Yes KS Chu is right, I have been running Spec R made for tamiya 417 with great succes !

Popsicles were great ! bit big but great....


you dont need to do much for the spec-r shaft to fit. All I had to do was to use the 5x10x3 for the inner bearing, use HB Hex and then for the blade, I put a 2mm hex in our curent blade in the hole to make it a tiny bit bigger and then it fits goo on the specr shaft and thats all I had to do !

thanks...what about C-hubs...anything to them?

I had to take a very very small amout with a blade of the inside part of the hub but it is very minimal ! just to round the edges !
