No problem it was good seeing you again. It is nice to see more people running the tc6 in the area ! glad you like the car and if there is anything I can help with send me a message on here.
Hi all, first time post.
Just got back into it after a 10 year sabbatical , if you can call ten years that!
TC 6 , Modified with rubber tires.
Problem. not enough steering in general. Guess it's a good place to be, now looking for steering instead of rear end.
I have turned up the Dual Rate and lowered the steering exponential to get a 'feel' of handling but want to find it mechanically so it is kinder on front tyres. Car feels a bit too safe with this much 'push'. Also sledges a little bit under braking so can never get into a corner late as have braking set reasonably low to focus on corner speed.
Looking for fine tuning options.
Solutions i am thinking :
1/less rear toe (from 3.5 to 3) ?
2/Shorten front and rear camber links to : Front 5 / Rear 4A ?
3/Shorten front wheel base ( from 2 to 1 ) ?
Track is open fast flow with some technical sections : nhrccc . org . nz
Awesome thread BTW. Any comments appreciated.

Very true Steve, wasn't too sure on how 'overkill ' i should be with setup info
bodyshell : Titan - Mazdaspeed 6
Tekin redline 6.5T/ tekin rs pro - using boost to increase mid range punch and turbo top-end for massive straight. Went 6.5T to be able to put power down smoothly as track is low/mid grip. outdoor asphalt.
silver springs all corners / 50 wt oil /piston 2/ black sway bar front and back
0 B mounts all round. longish wheelbase for sweepers and general track. Widened track by front 1 and 1. rear is 1 and 3.5 + 1 degree toe block. giving overall 3.5 toe in rear. Droop TC measurement 5 front , 4 back. camber 1.75 all round
played with set up for a while and the above ( except toe in ) is pretty much where I have ended up with a stable/consistent/ lots of traction/easy to drive car so think I want to concentrate on small fine tuning changes.
Am consistent enough ( .3 secs ) to be able to feel the difference in fine tuning.
Was thinking about trying out ISF bodyshell as apparently it has more front downforce.....
Really should try to minimize rear toe first i think.
Lord , please give me more entry and exit steering.
Thanks to all replies, much appreciated.
Off to track to test!
Jimmy.

Hope this helps , if you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask.
was nice seeing you as well ! good to hear about KO. I have been running the new RSX servos (speed) for Touring and I have been running the 951-ICS for 1/12 ! I have ran my 1/12 servo for about 2 years now with no issues.
Thanks for the picture Kevin, it was nice meeting you at the last grand slam race. Very nice facility and very nice people ! had a good time.

It looks like we will be switching to 17.5 boosted (maybe next week). It would be great to run with you and Joe. Stop by and show us the fast way 'round .... lol.

I was thinking about turning my TC5 into a Mod car since i cant afford another new TC6. I was going to put in a SXX TC Spec v.2 and Vector X-12 combo, i was wondering on which motor i should put in and if you had a good starting setup i could put on the car.

cheers, Keven. reducing rear toe 1mm each side( spacer) ;prolly need to drop my steering D/R to keep it in check but think it might just let me get on that edge for a faster lap instead of pushing around the track.
As for the suggestion of 'uprighting the front shock top' I will definitely try that sort of adjustment . Currently 3B front 2A rear ( cheating on rear to find more downward travel from shock rather than lengthening shaft ) . maybe thats counter productive?! or I could lessen downtravel all round by 1 and hopefully that keeps balance, just hard to say with soft setup as the car rolls a bit....
Who knows
Cheers for your advice.
