Just got my 417!!!
Btw, local racer is using savox servo without any problem.
Sounds like box stock setup works well with only a few minor changes(rear hub spacer). Go around page 21-23 of this thread for more info.

Hey Ed!
Joe and I have one locally. Not sure if anyone else has it locally. I know Dynamic Hobbies has about 3-4 left. Some were sold out of town before Christmas.
I will be building mine next week(hopefully) as we have a new carpet offroad track so I gotta get those cars ready first before working on the new 417.
I hope to have it in the TCS at Kingston though on Jan 16th!

Hi am reasonbly new to TC racing and would appreciate some help, can anyone please suggest a good sized pinion to start with, I'm running a GT Pro with 17.5T V3 motor on a reasonably tight track with a 30m back straight. Are there a few pinion sizes you should generally have?
thanks
thanks

GC track doesn't have any racing at the moment and I don't know if they ever will again. We use it to test stuff and will be running 17.5 zero next year as well. More than welcome to come out when we are there.
PM if you want any help.
Cheers

on one arm, tightening the screws like normal, movement is a bit more restricted in the suspention arm
how exactly did you solve this ? i put shims like in the manual... did you just add 1 suspension mount spacer (BA35) orso... ?
won't this affect the cars handling ?
i'll post some pictures lateron showing the savox 1257 rubbing issue
(solved it with cutterknife, sanding paper and some ellbow grease I got like 0,001 cm. to spare now, but no more rubbing...)
mabey the local racer reffered to in previous post has a different savox ? my savox lowprofile 1251 fits with room to spare...)

the pic of the savox rubbing (not anymore now)

Interesting... I think you could have the same problem with the new Ko RSX servos... they are massive...
