Personally I'm an LRP guy.. Love the motors.. And love to no PC configuration on the Speedos.. Suggest 17.5 x12 with the new SPX Stock Spec speedo for stock club racing.

Ill be nice and suggest some product-

ESC- Novak GTB 2 for 17.5 no ramping stock. If you have aspirations of going farther, the Novak Kinetic is also a good choice. The new Viper RC speed control maybe good, but it is not out yet. The LRP's are also a good speed control if you don't like messing with computers. I was born into being a Tekin guy, but can't suggest them to anybody anymore.

Motor- Novak Ballistic, Epic Duo's, Murfdogs. I run LRP, but we have had a lot more fail lately so I don't feel comfortable suggesting them to people. The Duos are always a good motor for stock.

Radio- I have to agree with Chris, Futaba all the way. I switched away to only go back .

Thanks...

These are Yokomo diffs... Spec-R are garbage. The Yokomos where run all weekend and not one leaked. They are awesome.
60wt in the Rear. Diff Lock or 500,000 in the Front.

The diff up front is easier to drive... you can drive into a corner much easier. With a spool, the pull out of the corner is quicker. The idea is to lock the diff but give it some action into the corner and the pull like a spool out of the corner. I tried the two run after run today and the spool did pull harder, but definately much more skill required to keep consistent.

I got mine mostly built this weekend while at a toys for tots race. Just a couple questions for all the internet experts.

1) The inner lipo brace (p/n #31318) doesn't seem to extend toward the battery enough to prevent the battery from contacting the forward belt. Is this normal or did I make a mistake in the build. I can make some little shim on it but that seems a little hokey.

2) There are 2 sets of addition holes forward and aft of the inner battery brace. What are they for? ballast weights?

The idea for the inner brace is to not let the battery slide over to far in a wreck. The battery should be all the way out before being taped in.

Yes they are for weight
