Heres some videos on some solutions.

Xray's "billion" dollar solution lol (ECS drive shafts)...:

Spec R had no solution for TC6. What to do then?
Has Team Associated a solution?

I don't think AE has a solution yet.

One of the team racers used the Hotbodies DCJS...as seen by the quote below.

I think these are the parts: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ve-Shaft-Set-1.

I dont know how he got them to fit...

I dont know if theres any clear advantage to these than the stock shafts, does anyone know if these are worth the investment and if they are a direct fit on the TC6?

Reflex Racing should be releasing DCJ shafts in the near future that will drop right in to the 6.1 (will require light Dremeling for old style casters)!

The hotbodies dcj fit without modification in the 6.1. Same With the BD5 Spec-R dcj.

Both require the use of Tamiya, Yokomo, or Hotbodies hexes. 5mm will get you stock hex spacing.

If you're running the 3-3.5mm front arm spacing you will need to put a 1mm shim under the spool cup with the Hotbodies dcj.

AE blades can be drilled to fit the HB dcj or you can use the HB blade. The AE blades can be used as is with the Spec-R dcj.

I have used both, the HB joints are the stronger of the two, but a set of Spec-Rs are not much more than 1 HB dcj and are easier to rebuild. I have run the Spec-Rs on carpet with a boosted 5.5 without issue.

Do you need the elusive 6.1 caster blocks to fit the DCJs?

Grab a caliper. Then look here, metric o-tings are to the right. I would imagine they have the size you need. It is lame that they are not sold separately.
