they're not sanding the USGT tires; the tires get that way from use. The center line either gets sliced off or sanded when new because it's really thick.

It was. It was recently changed to 1350 and tc is now 1320

1380 was waaaay back. Been 1350 for a while now I think. Going down again this year I heard? 1320? Maybe I have misread somewhere, worth checking the official rules.

When it was 1380 tub cars still had a slight chance. Those days are long gone.

Lame… seeing as this was the class for ‘old cars we have laying around and tubs’

again, there’s plenty of space to add weight. Especially with all the bumper ballast you can find on the market now. Worst excuse ever. And we fell for it.

Lightweight cars on tires that don’t have much grip in general… makes for cars that drift and don’t stop well under braking..

I think racing ligher cars should be a goal in any class, if this is not disadvantaging some drivers. It makes car easier to driver, limits the wear and preserve carpet also...

Bu that's just my 2 cents.
