Got the Spec-R gear diff on the rear of my TRF416WE filled with Kyosho 1000cst silicone diff oil. I'm running on a medium sized, high bite outdoor track. Car's rear end tends to have a slight slip coming out of the hairpins so I changed the oil to Mugen 2000cst silicone diff oil. Car's handling is now perfect and much more planted on the chicanes. Had the issues of leaking initially (as can be seen on the chassis and body) but after 2 heats t'was ok, no leaks on the outdrives.

you could try at http://www.kshobby.com
They have great service and the geardiffs are quite cheap.

Just thought I would post back in on how well the Spec-R gear diff has been holding up. Have been running the diff in a T3 with a 17.5 D3 no boost with no major problems, only a tiny bit of leaking. Works so well and so cheap to maintain I don't believe I will ever use a ball diff again! Rebuild kit for the gear diff is less than seven bucks, thrust bearing alone on the T3 ball diff $21.00

Thanks for the update. I purchased mine recently and put it together Saturday as I am switching everything over to my Exotek chassis. I cannot want to give it a shot soon.

Does anyone know if the SpecR gear diff fits the XRAY T2 08?

You can either convert the car to 38T pulleys and use the T3 geardiff, or you could try to get a Spec-R 34T geardiff. I bought 2 Spec-R 34T geardiffs from Demon Power Products, and they are working great in my T2 '009.

Can it be converted to 38/20? If so, what belts.
