Default Carpet XXX-S

Hello, I have an Xray that I couldn't get figured out last carpet season. I just picked up a XXX-S G+ because of it’s rep as easy to drive. You have a lot of pages, so please don't make me read all the way through. My questions is what kid of suggestions do you have to make my car good for carpet. I have heard all the complaints about getting horsepower out the car because of the drive train. I have picked up a black belt and was considering a set of acer ceramic bearings. What else should I do?

Go to the Losi website and try a couple of the carpet setups posted by top level drivers.

The black belt upgrade seemed like a good boost in performance over a standard yellow belt. Although it has a smoother feel, I didn't get as much improvement from the ceramic bearing upgrade in my mind.

On this XXX-S string, scan for the posts by James Nguyen and Randy Caster for an effective way to get through it quickly. They are two of the consistent contributors with meaningful posts. Todd Hodge's (Hodgemoto sp?) string has really good information too.

Thx!!! ...I'm trying to get more "good drivers" (read between the lines ..not me LOL) to setup logins and post their setups there, I would love to have a system for racers no matter what car they drive to be able to go to one place and via the filters pick setups.

And I will be at Speedworld tomorrow to find a setup for the final race of the NorCal Touring Car Championships on Saturday.

Good luck at the 1st Annual Losi race. Already arranged for vacationing in Maui that week. Wish I knew about it before I committed to a condo in the islands.

I would come out and help you tomorrow but I got some stuff that I have to do. Make sure you bring a shade cause it's gonna be hot.

James - You think my SoCal setup will work at SW?

I just got off the phone with Josh, he's gonna see if he can get some funds to go up to the TL race.

Got the canopy and lots of wa wa. If I get real racy, I may also get over to Ripon for the Friday night racing.

What could be better?
