My only gripe is that these shocks are DELICATE!!!! One good meeting with the boards and it's time to replace the rod guides and maybe piston (if you've drilled them out especially). At first I thought it was how I had the shocks shimmed but now realize it's just the nature of the shocks design.
Not true....Rich Stidham hasn't broken his Tamiya shocks and we all know how hard he is on things. See you this weekend. Are you running in the 19 turn class?

Randy-with that shock set-up what is your track temp and air temp where you race? I am in Arknasas but race in Memphis and our track temps have been in the 120-130 range. Plus the air temp is around 95-98. Thanks

PRP is in the prototype phase of their new towers right now. Ben sent me a set of the prototypes for testing. So far they're very good. But they're not out yet. PRP has a thread on here discussing them. BTW, the car you bought off Ebay, did it have a bunch of blue aluminum screws on it and the battery mounting hardware ground off? I traded a car with a friend who turned around and sold it and it had the old PRP towers on it.

ok im about to order the black belt kit but want to know if its worth it. I had the yellow belt and clipped it but it just broke. I loved the smoothness after it was clipped but think it might have led its breakage. So its it worth the price of two yellow belts?

The black belt kit is worth ever cent no doubt. I like it a ton more then the cut yellow belt. I have never cut my black one and don't really see a need to. I run it super loose in mod sedan and it works fine.

I would think dirt oval would be really popular out there with all the full size dirt oval track there are out there.
