so do you go red straight to the batt and than off the bat go to the motor.

Or im i makeing the split before it goes to the batt and motor.

or do i take some raw wire make a square and from that square go to motor and batt.

Sorry for being a dumb dumb.

I stripped off approx 3/8" of insulation from the wire and laid the other wire next to it to solder both together ("Y-connection"). Then slid shrink wrap onto it to dress it up. Easy!

Sorry for being a dumb dumb.

Made a nice arch with the red wire from the ESC over to the motor (my wires are facing the tunnel). Wanted to have about 4" of wire from ESC to motor (+) terminal. At about 1-1/2" above the ESC, I stripped 3/8" of the insulation off that same red wire. I laid the cutoff piece of red wire against the stripped piece of wire and soldered away. This add-on wire is laid in such a way as to be pointing where I wanted it to go...towards the battery.

Then slid the shrink wrap on to cover the connection.

Being smart smart for checking first...he, he...
