have read that Surikarn used the evo-4 suspension arm in his trf-415 in winning the reedy race of champions, is that the standard evo-4 susp. arm that he used or is that the optional susp. arm:confused:

evotech, even if tamiya do bring out another version of the evo4 it would be for the better.
the evo3sl was far better than the evo3.
its gon like this;
trf404
trf414x
trf414
trf414m
trf414m2
trf414m2 wcr
evo3
evo3sl
trf415
evo4

somewere along the way in the early part of the 414 series we had the evo1 and 2 but they were to heavey and wasnt that good.
each car development had been signifactly faster.
so the evo4 sl or 416 would be all much faster so a new car now would be worth getting even though i havent raced my evo4 yet

Did the TA04 come out before or after the TRF414?

There were a number of changes made between the two cars. The TA04 was born from the 414 series...

Tamiya Virus 08-06-2004 01:38 PM

There was 404X? I didn't know that. Was it ever available for sale like 414x? I assume that it was just a prototype and was not available for sale.
