I've never had a HiTec last me more than 5 months. Even during those 5 months I'd have to reset trim everytime I went to the track and my car would occasionally glitch

No I haven´t driven the ETC and I don´t need to. I never will touch any car with ball type suspension again. The problem is it seems not to be very consistent and adjusting the right amount of play isn´t very easy. Everybody here gave up on suspension like this with electric racing. It´s perfect for gas cars but not with rubber tires.
Even Xray and Corally went away from that kind of suspension.

I don´t know where this car is sold in numbers. Even not in Austria, Robitronic´s home.
Yes it´s possible beating TC3´s and other cars on club racing but I don´t think so on big events like nationals. I yet have to see one car in the A-final of a national race currently.

I don´t know of any driver here using an ETC at the moment. Even a very good driver related to Robitronic gave up and bought a Xray now.

Don´t take me wrong. I don´t want offend you in any way. If the ETC works for you it´s fine but I don´t think the same for most other guys.

I hate Hitec. And there's nothing wrong with the S9550 servo. I'll run that over any Hitec on any day of the week! Plus it works great with my 3PK in HRS mode. I run them in both my 415 and Yokomo SD. :p I was just asking if I had to clip off the ears or not. I have one alreadly clipped in my 415. And one new one (not clipped) in my Yokomo SD.

Anyways, my Evo IV came in today. I should have it up and running by the weekend. I might be running it at the Norrca Nats next weekend in Atlanta. If not, then the Yokomo SD will do the honors. So we'll see how it fairs. I'm just scared to run the IV... :D

Well I just finished up the part I hate most about building a "deck" chassis car. I finished prepping the chassis..... :rolleyes: Now on with the good stuff!!! :D
