with everything installed but not having the motor attached to the spur gear???

Mine spun for a very long time as well. I was concerned how it would hold to a very low wind motor until I ran it in the KO race. Grabbed fistfulls of throttle all weekend and no skipping teeth. It's a pretty fool-proof drivetrain.

That car has just got the front end of a Evo 4 on the back. Rick

i have seen online a rear end conversion from a Pro 4 on the Evo IV and also using Xenon rear hubs.

oh, yeah...if anyone haven't seen it yet. the Kai version of the Evo IV is posted on their site

Although I don't own an Evo IV personally:cry: I must admit on my friends Evo IV's the drivetrain just spins for eva!!

Man, why are the slots in the shaft cups cut so deep?
Its not as if that dogbone is gunna go thru severe angles
like a steering knuckle. Tamiya could have cut less of a slot
and left more meat to clasp the 2 cup sides better.

Is that what the top secret stuff is? Just front susp mounted at the rear?

I dunno WC. Maybe so you can slide the shaft forward or back to take off the other end of the car or input shaft. But I do know the ring around the cup has worked great for me so far. So I'll deal with that for now.

Question Dave... have you used the Pro4 stuff yet on your car? I was wondering if you could just use the HPI front spindles with the stock Evo IV carriers up front. I'd like something beefier (bearings) up front along with the HPI/MIP CVDs. OH and about the bumpers... any chance on just getting only 1? I think 4 are abit too pricey for me....

Anyways, ran the Evo IV today in 19t and stock. Car ran pretty good for 19t. But it's still not up to speed yet with my Yokomo in Stock. So more tuning should provide better results. Especially considering I had my Yok since it came out. We'll see.

Yes the HPI knuckle can be used up front with stock c-hub:nod:all you have to do is add a .5mm shim and use the TC-3 dog bone:nod: works great:nod: also same for the rear..you can use the Pro4 rear hub:D
also no problem on the bumper plate...PM me for more details:D

u need different bearings if u want to use tamiya shafts.
u can change the bearings and use the evo3 axles.
