I have posted my carpet setup a few times in this thread. Use the serch function for posts by me. It is for mod foam so you may have to adjust a little for rubber tires.

Anybody have any TB Evo parts to sell? I need mainly suspension and transmission parts, but any is appreciated! trying to build a second one; just don't have all the parts to complete it.

GundamWZero,

Sent you a pm.

I actually have a brand new car that is chassis, trans, most susp, etc. that has never been used and the bearings spin FOREVER. I'll see if I can find a pic to PM. I'll let it go for cheap since I do not need it.

Whats up everyone? I am done building my car and I am wondering what tires and Inserts I should get. I was thinking about some Hara inserts.
Thanks

Take-Off CS series are very good. You might want to try those.

Hi guys,

Can anyone point me inthe direction of some setups sheets that have been filled out by people for the MS??

Mainly after rubber/foam asphalt setups

Cheers

hi guys,
I have a bit of an odd request. Does any one have a spare set of the anti roll bar mounts for the evo4? the parts that come on the L parts sprue.
I'd like to use them on my 415, given they have a grub screw built it... but in all honesty I don't see the point of paying for a whole sprue of parts I'll never use.
I'll happily pay for them, with P&P.

Regards
Ed

Why don't you get the stabilizer rod stoppers?

TryHard 12-20-2005 05:35 PM

got them, but they only limit side to side.
with the grub screw you can limit fore and aft too :)

What battery tape are you using and where did you get it...I am looking for Black or Blue Tape.
Thanks

F. Alonso 12-21-2005 08:09 AM

Not sure who you are directing it at but I never used tape for my Evo4 when I had it. I used a Yokomo MR4TC Graphite battery strap which worked great with the Tamiya mount. Swear by it!

BUT - if you must use tape, then I'd recommend the Blue Xenon Strapping Tape. Available from Speedtech I believe and is the one I see the most on people's cars (available in several colours but we all know blue is the way to go!)

The Xenon tape from http://www.speedtechrc.com is the ticket. I also dig the Tamiya strapping tape. Word of warning on the Tamiya tape... don't leave this stuff out in the sun (like in your car). The adhesive can separate from the backing:(

TryHard: I'll have to look at home. I know for a fact I have one because it is on my bedroom floor and I stepped over it like a dozen times and haven't picked it up yet:) I will check to see if I can find the other one from the pair. I switched to the clear ones so I have the black stock ones. I agree the set screw is an awesome feature. As far as I could see, the instructions don't tell you to put in the set screws but a friend mentioned it and it helped tremendously.
