Tim, that is very kind of you. I actually have a handicap. It is called benigne essential tremor. I take a beta blocker to help. It reduces the impact of adrenaline on the nerve endings. The tremor I have is aggrevated by adrenaline when I want to do really well or something perfect, like script my name. So I am not nervous, just trying very hard. I turned 56 years old last Feb. I figure I have about 4 more years to drive at this level. After that, I will be fodder for all you young pups. Well, it's late and the Lansing "Officially Un-official" State champs are tomorrow. I got my car working good enough to put me 5th in the A last weekend in Toledo and be TQ by 2 laps last night at Larrys. It should be good enough to get me in the top 15 tomorrow, at least I hope. My Trinity Switchflex TT is looking good. Talk to y'all later. Tim |

???
i finally got a good charger and dont want to abuse my new batteries. now i know there are alot of different factors to consider and a lot of different opinions, but what amperage would you guys charge your 4cell GP 3300's at?i dont know if it matters but they are PowerPush cells 1.172's and 1.170's and finally what i find most confusing is the voltage threshold setting displayed in millivolts
the charger is a Millenium pro and i run 1/12 stock. thaks, sean:confused: |
what time does the Gate open on Wed?
anyone know what time the Gate will be opening Wednesday morning?
|
The track will open at 7 on Wed. with stock tc starting at 8. No cars are allowed on the track until 8.

Re: ???
You can't set the cutoff voltage when you use the NiMH setting on that charger. So use the NiCD setting, but choose the LINEAR one. Then choose number of cells, then set the peak at about 5mv/cell (20mv for the pack). Charge at 5 or 6 amps. The cells shoule be pretty warm, not hot, when done. About 125 degrees F.
The NiMH setting on that charger doesn't get them warm enough. Okay all,
Let me preface this by saying I am not sponsored by Speedmerchant-but the Rev4 I just built and ran is a dream to drive and its fast. by fast-I dont mean that in the hype sense-but in the carries corner speed, transitions fast and gets off the corner and goes sense. if you own a Rev3-I would try the Rev4. Originally posted by Tim Stamper Thanks for the update. Wow, it looks like Greg finally got a 1/12th scale that suits his driving style. Good job Greg. David, we knew you would be fast. What was the spread between racers? was there a blowout, or a freight-train of 10 cars? Talk to ya later. Tim Yeah-thats a good thing as the previous week-he would turn a blistering lap-then crash and take me and JOneser out, turn a few more fast laps-catch Joneser and I again and take us out-again!!! Ya Ray, we ALL know I was aiming for you on purpose! BTW, I still have tc3 bumpers for sale, CHEAP!!! :sneaky: Ray has first dibbs... And Ray, there was nothing blisteringly fast about last week....
