Any body know where to get Team 1 Strapping tape or something exactly like it? Its got to have the fibers in it. Thanks.

A question for those in the know.

just bought a AH12 conversion kit for my l4 and I wanted to know what front body posts to use. The holes drilled in the front of the chassis takes a 4mm countersunk screw.

Who makes body posts that takes a 4mm screw?

I actually used the old body mounts off a 12wc or an old associated 12th scale car. It is actually the same screws that hold on the lower arms but shorter. You can check to see if the old rc10ce buggy body mounts would work with the exception of shortening them to the size you need.

Hey all, I have a few more pics of the Jari FF-07 chassis that John posted yesterday, this is actually the first "kit" from Jari, in other words, this is how all the parts will be, the final version for now, all CNC'ed out, up till now some parts have been hand made....
Jari has a homemade CNC router that cuts out the graphite parts, and is farming out the pod plates, all the parts are an absolute work of art and go together beautifully! The axle holders in the pods are PERFECT for the IRS holders, no shimming, gluing, or material removal required! This whole car is extremly low, and really stiff, it is a great carpet car. I believe he plans on having these for sale very soon, still working on an official name and website, etc....

A few more pics, the kit has spacers for a CRC front end, and access hole in the chassis for the same, come with graphite spacers for the tweak plate and pod to tbar.... This was one zip-lock bag full of expensive stuff that didn't cause nervousness on the drive home!

holy cow, that thing IS slammed

That's looking really nice...I like the lowered bulkheads on the rear pod. With how low bodies are getting these days that will help get a little clearance back.

Yari's 12th scale is amazing, everyone who drives one does nothing but rave about how amazing it is! Get one for yourself today, or tomarrow, or whenever he gets his site up.

InspGadgt 03-04-2007 12:50 PM

That may be but I have no desire to go back to saddle pack batteries and tape :)

a 12th racer i know in AZ who ran some of the Corally 12ths prior to the SPX had a similiar tweek system. those cars also had t-bars flush mounted with the main plate like the older Delta P12 Spyder
