RCsilly - not sure of a release date or part number but I would assume very soon. I beleive a few adjustments were still necessary.

Keep looking on the Pro-line website for details.

I just bought a 12L3 and am wondering what you guys are running in your (any brand) 12th scale car for electronics. I was thinking of using a Novak GT7 esc, is this overkill?

What ESC do you use?
What servo do you use?
What motor would you recommend for a 19 turn?
Thanks in advance,
Jay

I am using a cyclone and a hitec hs-225 servo.

LouisB 02-09-2003 02:25 PM

GT7 and HS 225MG.

The Trinity Chameleon 2 Pro seems to be the most popular 19 turn spec motor.

i use a novak super rooster and 9601 standard fubata mini servo and go with the chamelion 2 for a motor.

rc-racer- Try either a JR Z3555 or a Futaba 9602 or i think the Airtronics 91145Z. I use the JR.

Speedo's: I like the LRP Quantum Competiton. It is said that the Nosram and Futaba are Quantum's in different cases but i'm not sure if this is the case but those two speedo's are great i hear. On the Novak scene the C2 is reliable and people report good performance from the GT7 but reliability has had it's teething issues that i here they are already rectifying.

19turn motors: Axiom has one that i think you will be pleased with. I think it is a blue printed Chamelon 2 but check the Axiom website for more info, they also have a forum listed on this site in the company section. Check them out.

Just FYI.
YOKOMO released another version of
MS-1 two weeks ago. It is light weight type

wouldnt it be cool if instead of the wedge wing that pan cars had adjustable rear wings much like the LMGTP cars (Bentley EXP Speed 8 LMGTP for example), or we had open cockpit bodies to reflect the changes in the FIA Prototype rules?
