how would you say that running cyan/magenta's differes from plaid/purples?

The plaids/purples make more sidebite and less forward bite because of the harder compound. The cyan/magentas will free your car up because of the softer sidewall which makes them much better for high bite. The cyan/magentas give your car more steering and better forward traction.

BMI Tweak Issue
Have any of you guys experienced tweaking issues with your BMI chasis? I just build mines and cant seem to get the weight evenly distributed across the chasis? My left rear tire is lighter than my right rear and the left front tire is lighter than the right front?!?!?!?. Didnt seem to have this problem with the Teemu chasis. I've check all my shock/spring lengths; droop; balance; and even rebuilt the car from scratch but the closest i can get the lateral weight to be is in the range of 30-50 grams off. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. :-(

Taffyjnr5- I've always just used kit bearings. Schumacher does have some new bearings for the car that are supposed to be much better. I just got them and will be running them this weekend for the first time.
IslandBwoy- I think you have a weight distribution issue, not a tweak issue. Take the tires off and if you have some droop blocks like the Schumacher ones or the Hudy ones, set the chassis on that making sure that it's not sitting on any screw heads. If the chassis doesn't set perfectly flat on the blocks, the chassis is tweaked. If it does, you're weight distribution is off. I've had to put up to 35g on the left side of the car before to get the weight just right. The easiest way to check the weight distribution is to set the car on a flat LEVEL surface, ready to run, and lift the car from the center of the shock towers on both ends with a couple of hex drivers.If one side comes up first, that's your light side and you'll need to add weight. Try and add the weight as low on the chassis as you can.

That is very possible Jon, I started to put weights on the car but when i got up to 30+ grams i started to think that something was wrong. As i was discussing with Paul it gets kinda dificult to balance the car with the BMI chasis becuase the center point of the towers are so low, its hard to get something through there from front to back. I'll try balancing the car again today before the club races and see what happens.

Instead of adding weight to the left side, you can get a motor spacer to move the motor farther out and that will help balance it w/o extra weight.

Or add a fan. Functional weight is a god thing.

Well other than keeping the motor cooler. what does the fan provide? Can i as a result of adding the fan run higher ratios? 'cause personally i've never had a problem overheating a motor in 19T. But then again maybe thats why i'm slow :-(
BTW: I've noticed that some of the setup sheets call for blue front and silver rear springs. And then others would call for the opposite. ???
