Mine had the brace in the kit. It went on the front great. Only problem was the steering arms rubbed on the o ring spacer and the o ring spacer was not big enough to remove all the slop from the front arms from moving back and fourth. I just used some small spacers and fixed the problem. Still a pretty nice setup.

Yeah. I would of liked to have that setup instead of measuring and cutting carbon fiber from my old chassis. You will feel a difference in the car, feels like you can push it harder in the corners

Default Schumacher mission not fast enough?

Hey guys,

I race at a small carpet indoor track, with about 2/3 straight and 1/3 corners. My Schumacher mission just can't keep up woith the other guys around the corners, because of it's loss of acceleration, and slips behind a bit on the straights too, can any of you tell me what pinion gear, spur or anything else to buy to make it faster and have more acceleration. Bear in mind i am running the 20t pulley, 86t spur gear, 25t pinion gear. Everything else is just standard.(p2k2 motor, only allowed 27turn stock)

Cheers

I would find out what the roll out is of the faster guys. Maybe your gearing is off some. Could be your setup on your car. your batteries. tire combination, or a number of other things. It is sometimes hard to pin point one thing. Start will running a rollout of what ever the faster guys run.

Inline turnbuckle solution:

No need to get longer turnbuckles. The solution is simple. Unscrew the turnbuckle a turn or two from the arm (bulkhead) side then unscrew the remainder needed from the ball end (hub) side (maybe 6-7 turns?). The only end that breaks is the arm side, I have NEVER seen the ball end side break. By turning the arm side out a turn or so, it gives you enough treads to make caster adjustments, but still be as strong as if you were running the offset ball link. If you break an arm now, you would have broken the arm in the offset setting too. By the way, I ALWAYS run the inline setting on my car: more traction and stearing and a general better feel to the car. Try it and you'll NEVER go back.

I'm BAAAAAACK...

simple, first you choke and brush a board so the car flips over the board and onto the straight with the whole pack coming. Went from 16.8 sec laps to 35.7 sec lap after having to run most of the track a second time. Hey, if it wasn't for me, they would have never caught me.

...and at least I raced, STL.

I'll be at the SWC, its my turn to win it. The NORRCA Nats are alittle close to the Reedy and I will be at the Reedy...

Touringcardude, Email me at [email protected] and I'll send you my old setup sheet for it. If it's for running on asphalt, I have the ticket...

Racer X- We took the weekend off to give other car companies a chance to shine. I was just there to help the novice losi guys with some set up help. I even worked on a couple of cars yesterday I'm off to test this new set up Dujuan came up with.
