I have played with both and I keep coming back to the Mohawk. I am gonna try out the DNA today to see how it compares....
this is very interesting and confusing at the same time, at least to me, let me explain, at the paved nats at SIR, traction was high very high, i tried a few adjustment so calm the car down, nothing i did seemed to helped. got some advise from randy and it did help but not enough for MY liking, i changed from the mazda 6 to the dna1 and the car was perfect. now they laid carpet and i'm traction rolling, i can't get the car "stuck" without rolling. and this is on rp-30's.. spec tire for up coming series is the sorex 28 and that is just outta the question right now. put on jimmys iic setup and it snap rolls like crazy. i did do the ca on the outside of the tire but it felt inconsistant. now i read that the dna is "more downforce" "on carpet". i have a mohawk but didn't really care for it, i guess i will go try again.

then again maybe i'll just put on the carpet stuff and go mod foam. or try the 5 cell with 10.5 on rubber.

thanks cant believe all the good info on here, keeps a ole guy up thinking.

It'll be tough to find those mods now, or anyone who still does them.

Most of the places that used to do it have dried up and no longer offer it. A big part of that is the fact that most people who owned an ICE(like myself), had them because they were great for LiPo and inexpensive. But now, with the popularity of the new smaller LiPo chargers (multiplex, triton jr., avionics), which are smaller, cheaper, have nearly all the ICE features, and already have a backlight, most people(like myself) are just switching to one of those rather than moding their ICE.

I have always felt that the speed 6 and regular mazda 6 have about the same steering, but the speed 6 has a bit less rear bite. I generally run the standard mazda 6 now, and will use some anti-squat if I want the car to rotate more.
