I use the carbon transponder bumper brace with the rear end sway platic parts. Works well, it does move the pivot a little, but that's not a problem.

Image from mytsn (just image it on the front bumper brace and horizontal, not vertical):

And i forgot to say i failed scruitineering in the weight depatment
it was 120g under & thats with a spring steel diff in the front
So now i`ve got a carpet of lead on the chassis i`ll put a pic up later i`m going to work now
PS;;; the batts that i bring over (all three) are selling like hot cakes so far no complaints in the performance department

Default Oversteer on Exit

Hi guys!

I have an Xray FK and would like to know what's the best way to cure the car's tendency to spin out when you pull the trigger (lightly) when exiting corners.

Would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

Try mounting the front camber link on the bulkhead with 4-5mm of spacers under the ball. This worked for me...you can also add some front caster via kickup or caster blocks.

P2 is correct - but there are more options. The only thing that I'm not sure of is Caster, it really depends on the speed of the exit. Caster seams to do different things at different speeds and at different parts of a transition. Caster changes too many other variables when you mess with it. (cross weights, camber, ackermann, etc.) i leave caster at 3*, until I'm 99% where I want to be, then play with caster. Which means 99% of the time I run 3* caster.

BTW, on exit, I mess with rear toe first, front toe second. Then I play with springs, damping rates, then I mess with roll centers. (in that order)

On extrance I mess with front toe first, then spings, then damping, then roll centers.

Try my reference sheet.

My LHS at track is/was selling them for $289.00 for local racers. The LHS owners helps us out and we repay them by trying to buy almost everything from them. I dot know if hes ship these kits ut at that price as it would mean losing money and no repeat business for parts, tires, brushes-you know what I mean!!

$289 or $312, both are really great prices. But the one thing you must consider is are there kits available.
