Thistle, You glue the TOP piston to the shaft, that will allow you to properly adjust the shocks.
And yes, the only O-ring I have ever found that works on the bottom shock seal is the Serpent style O-ring. Which by the way I do have in stock.....hehehe

Can you put a samll drop of CA on the Plastic Pillow Ball Guides that fit into the 5mm screws that go into the Steering blocks and the rear Blocks? I think that I kind of messed up the threads on the blocks because I took one apart last night to adjust something and when I screwed it back in the Plastic guide did nto go into the Aluminum 5MM Screw correctly and that is when I messed up the threads.
Thanks

Sorvo saver
Hey all of you X ray owner, have you guys notice that the servo saver is a bit weak? Maybe it's just my car but are there any stronger spring out there that I could use to stiffin up my servo saver?
#726
I have not had a problem with the saver. I don't think there is an option for a stronger spring. I will have to browse myTSN for that possibility.
I don't recommend this crude method but you could stretch the spring yourself, but that will change the spring rate drastically for the worse or may be what you are after.

RCCadet-
Yup. I had it lined up and when I started screwing in the metal hexnut the Allen Wrench went all the way through and moved the plastic part a little and when I started to tighten it the lip that fits into the Hex was not lined up so I crushed it a little. I then took some rubber cement and just touched it to the plastic cup and put it into the Hex to hold it there and make sure it was in and then I screwed the piece in. It was very hard to turn in and that is when I found out that I messed up the threads because one part of the Hex would go into the block quicker the the other end of the hex.
