You must have me confused with someone else. I don't have an eVoII, it's a F201! Considering all that redbull you drink, I can understand the simple mistake.

Can someone please supply me with a part number for the latest and lowest front shock tower for the evo2? I need a lower shock tower than the C-hub one so I can get my body lower. Right now its sitting on top of the shocks. I need to drop my body at least 1/8" if not a little more!!!

Thanks,
Ray

Ray
Use the Ultra tune shock tower:
http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/pro...hp?prod_id=529

it's about .25in lower than the stock C-hub tower.

That is actually the tower for running foams. Otherwise you need to run longer shocks in the front. I run this on myself, great when your tires are 58mm or less.

Running longer shocks will work...but I use the shorter shock bodies... this will alow me to keep the same droop settings.

I think all there shock towers are called Ultra-tune...
the lower shock tower has 4 shock mounting holes vs the 3 found on the C-hub tower...

Zombies, I agree. Ran the longer springs (rear) prior to this tower coming out. Would run out of negitave suspension travel w/o this tower ~ 56mm or less.

guys,

Yup-I am almost out of threads on my front shocks now as my foam tires are starting to dip below 2.25"!!!!

I finshed the race day yesterday at 4.5mm ride height and 0.5 front droop on gauge. And-like I said-to achive 4.5mm-I am almost out of threads to tighten down the shock collars. But this is with the shorter AE Purple springs. I have the Xray springs coming.

Man-OH man do I need that front sway bar. When the traction came up-car was overly planted. I stood shocks up-but it wasnt enough.

the bladed sway bars are nice...but I still like the wire sway bars...

the rear sway bars will work up front too.

Ray: Temp fix is to screw out the lower shock eyelet ~ 1mm 2 thread. This will give you enough more lenght with the longer springs to run the stock tower till you get the new. That is what I had to do.

Can you post a pic of the installed rear sway bar on the front? Is this with the c-hub suspension? The only way I see to mount the links is on the back of the lower arm, which limits the steering travel? I must be missing something?

Ray, how did sunday go? I had some friends come in from out of town on saturday, and it turned in to a looooooong night.
