44 tires black jaco (42mm max. CRC purple or Magenta, sidewalls glued)
1/2 to 1/4 traction action( no smell allowed)
50 springs
sure lube 1 king (30,000wt. on kingpins, 5000wt in tubes.)
1 mm front droop (maybe .005" droop, barely see light under stearing block)
long arm (short arms)
2 washers back (all washers back)
angle servo
3.5 mid
battery back (forward)
rs esc
red center with 30 losi (35wt, gold spring)
red side 1/4 turn then tweak (white, 1/2 turn preload)
4.0 rear
46 tires gray jaco ( 43mm max. CRC pink)
172 width
1.5 pod droop (max. 1mm droop)
17.5 express
speed 12b?
I added coments to the areas I run different from you in 17.5. My car turns very well and is consistant the whole run.
If you need corner speed and drive very aggressively try this setup. I may go from full to 3/4 throttle and that's it. This setup will be used at the Holloween Classic this weekend.

I raced mine for the first time this weekend and had a blast. I'm not up to speed with the real experienced 1/12 guys, but I was within a few laps. I was riding it around and just trying to get a feel for the class and the speed and not pushing hard at all. The car only developed a little bit of a push when I got offline on the carpet, but it cleared up fairly well within a lap or two of staying on the groove. I had no steering issues and am running a flat mounted servo. I used a 3/8" long threaded spacer (short CRC standoff) a 5/8" screw and the female ball stud on the steering arm and shimmed the axles a touch wider up front so there is plenty of tire clearance. It put the linkage level or just under with the outside a hair higher than the inside. The result was as close to zero bump steer as I could get it. It really does drive nice. Now to be brave enough to carry more corner speed!

The CRC white (heavy) lube came with my kit. I compared it to 3000wt lube and the CRC was definitely lighter weight. I'd guess around 2000wt.
Don't know about everyone else, but 3000wt is the lightest lube I use in the tubes.

"...Adding rear droop (up to about 3mm max) can give the car more rear grip and a more consistent feel on bumpy tracks. On smooth tracks, the car will not use this extra travel and you will notice very little difference, if any."
Anyone disagree with this statement? Not all tracks are consistently bumpy or consistently smooth, so might it make sense to always run up to 3mm of droop?

I found details on the CRC tube lubes somehwere but now can't find the link again. I think the weights were red 3000, white 6000 and blue 10000.
I think i have found the source of the problem of the GEN XL that wouldn't go straight and appeared very tweaked. See earlier post. I discovered that the motor mount was tweaking the carbon fibre rear pod plate. Rebuilt the car with one of the screws missing and the car was sitting flat. Added the final screw in and it is still sitting flat. So all looking good and the proof will be at the weekend when I get to run the car.

I'm Just confused on weather I should be running the white or red side springs and what lube.

max of 3mm droop is a good place to start for alot of people. Most of the team guys do run less, but it is to a driver's feel.

I see that he ran 50,000 in the tubes. which kind lube do you recommend? Also, if I decide to step up in spring do you usually lighten up the lube? Sorry this is my first car with the link rear end. Any help is much appreciated!
