i believe in 64 pitch you can go as low as 68 if you can find one the lowest i have seen is a 71

as for 48 pitch i have no idear i dont know anyone that runs 48 on a 12 scale car just because of the gear ratio required

im talking about the steering arms that move the outer link of the steering tie rod closer to the king pin, the attached picture has the new ones pictured on the gen-xl on the left and the standard ones from the gen-x on the right

After looking at Dumper's winning ride. It looks like they are the same dimensions, but are now made out of plastic like the servo saver, saver...
Hope this helps,
CD

The new steering arms are part of the new Gen XL kit. They are not included in the conversion kit.

What would moving the tie rods closer to the kingpin do?

OK, picked up a used Gen X and the XL upgrade from Ampdraw. It will be fun around here in a few days. I hope my Gen X 10 setup experience helps a little.

It shipped out this morning, enjoy the upgrade!

After watching these things move around the track, I have that itch to build one and get back into the driving side of things.

Default Congrats

Frank, Dumper and all the CRC guys, I said it at the race and I'll say it again, big congrats on an awesome job. It doesn't take just speed or just good driving or just a good car, it takes the whole package to do what you guys did. Great job, you really had your stuff together and it showed!!

Awesome job at the IIC guys! The new car looks great! I picked up the new shock right away once Frank told me it was available at the on-site shop. There are so many 1/12th cars on the market now that I want to get, especially the GenXL, but I don't have the time or money to get them all and all the electronics for them...wish I did

Great job on IIC!! just saw your update to the teamcrc website.

For previous Gen-X owners upgrading to the XL will the mico left bulkhead and lower plate be available for purchase? or can the battle axe 2.0 rear pod parts be used instead?

The battle axe 2.0 left rear pod can be used on the XL. The are only different in the material used to make them, otherwise they are the same. One is plastic, on the XL and the other is aluminum, on the battle axe, if you want the extra bling.
