Today I made two quick tests with the software HW 312 and SP 107 with engine Novak 17.5.
Honestly I have not found any differences in speed between the HW 312 and HW 323 that used before, perhaps a little more thrust acceleration.
The SP 107 and instead just a timing variable as the SPX with remarkable speed but unfortunately little linearity of acceleration (equal to the SPX).
Of course I do still find the right test for FDR for the SP 107 for surely it must be different from that of HW-312 (I tried both with FDR 3.86 in short track), but my first impressions is that the SP 107 is suitable a track with long straights, while the HW 312 is superior in technical track with a few straights.

312 still can run the longer gearing.

Today i tried both with my AlienPower 17.5 motor. The HW312 and the SP110.IMO the 110 is much better by far. The HW312 on full timing (26.5') and FDR 3.8 on a very big truck with a 65m straight was fast but not something special ,without punch coming out of corners and on the slower parts. With the SP-110 , timing on 15' and FDR 4.02 everything was different.I was the fastest on the staight by far and the car was feeling very punchy on the slower parts and with very good acceleration. With the SP-110 and the timing on 0 and FDR 4.02 i had the same feeling as with the HW312 with full timing and FDR 3.8. Haven't try the SP-107 yet.Maybe next Saturday.

And teh hobbywing 218 software in the new update ?

Test Bed vehicle
Tomorrow I am going to be running the 110 software in anger using a Fanton Ion Pro 10.5 motor in my modded cyclone-S.

Tech Rookie
Hi all.
My new XE120A ESCs have arrived today two days out from a big race meet. I don't have time to test out different firmware/settings so am hoping for a good starting point (FW, ESC settings gear ratio etc) for an X12 4.5T and a Duo2 13.5T motors.
The track I'll be running on has a ~50m back-straight into a reducing radius sweeper and a technical in-field. I can't post a url to a site with a picture of the track but for those interested the google map coordinates are -36.725962,174.704284
Any help would be most appreciated

LOL Still they try to fool us.
Just a little info for you guys, a team driver of mine was trying to install some S/W on his ESC last night and ended up ruining his Speed Passion ESC and Speed Passion LCD box because he was using the Hobbywing software, not the Speed Passion software.
So next time someone tells you it's the same, it's not.
Just a little cost saving tip...

Of course they are not the same. Xerun 120 comes with presoldered wires,in a little different case and is about 100$ cheaper. I don't know if this is bad or good for us
#118
If thats the case then Xerun with HW LCD box is better coz I can swap between SP n HW softwares on both units anytime without ruining anything

However as stated earlier in the Thread ExRun is heading to a distributor in Canada, not sure what happened there but who knows.

Hello, Could some one please tell me what the height of the XE60A is W/O fan? The track I run at is now allowing timing advance esc's in the 1/12th and TC class (17.5 motors) Most of the guys are ordering the Black Diamond esc's but I don't want to spend that much when it seems to me that the XE60A will do the same thing and has that nifty little program card. I just need to make sure that it will fit under my 1/12th Audi R8C body.
Thanks, georgec
