Hi,
like i can see has the servo mount a long hole on one side of the chassis.
Does this mean, i can use mini servos like a Futaba S-9602?
That would be great.

Yep, theres a long hole. I'm using an Futaba S9550, which is standard size but short. Its mounted about 2/3rds of the way down the hole, so it might be a push to fit a 1/12th servo. You could drill and countersink your own hole though.

Current prices are £13 for a ball bearing set...I've ballraced mine through a UK bearing supplier for £7.35
Theres only 6 ballraces needed! 4 metric and 2 imperial, the following sizes:
5x10x4mm (x4 bearings)
1/4x3/8'' (x2 bearings)

So much plastic on that chassis, you could probably trim some of it off to save some weight, tho it might reduce your chances to race in some classes if they are strict about it?
i wonder if these can compete with rubber tires against some of the tamiyas on foam tires.. seems like F1 is becoming popular again.
Hope they make 09 spec wings and more body options. At least give us Type M or Type F etc etc lol

I've finally gotten round to giving mine a run. The surface was an unprepared carpark, motor was a silver can with 25/75 gearing, and 3200 LiPo (I decased it and cable tied it into the holders). Not sure of the weight, I didn't check it, but will tomorrow.
Out of the box, box stock, it was loose on power. Waaaaay too much steering, not enough traction. I carried on regardless and the tyres scrubbed in, and after about 5 mins, the car felt a lot better. It was still twitchy off power, I think thats down to the friction centre shock not controlling much.
Overally, it was controllable, but as the sun went down, the track temps dropped and the grip disappeared. The T-Bar was on its tightest setting, and I backed it off a little, but that made it feel lazy to change direction, so I soon tightened it back up.
However, I collected a stranded touring car and the motor shifted, stripping the spur gear. Its now shelfed until I can get a spare one. I noticed Precision RC are stocking the kit now, so hopefully its not too long before I can get it sorted again.
First upgrades anyone needs will be ballraces and an oil shock, maybe softer tyres unless your local track is medium to high grip. The other bits are all eye-candy I think, but I'm sure the orange axle and pod parts will find their way onto mine.....

I talk to HPI rep. yesterday and ask him on when is the F10 coming out here in the US and I was told from mid to late September. I ask him what about the race in LA and a lot of people is waiting for the arrival. I'm not about to spend 1/2 the price of the car for shipping that just don't make sense to me as a hobbiest so I guess I'm not gonna make it for the annual may be next year they will be prepared for this and all the hop-ups might be available too.
I'm not complaining I just have my hopes up then it got crushed.... LOL
I know their plate is full and overloaded but keep up the good work I'm still going to wait.....

Would you send me the url of the decal store, please?
It would be nice to get some Force India decals in order to match the car to my driving skills!
