My on-line supplier back order still indicates a late Jul delivery.

But, as you say, release dates can get pushed and that will affect ship date as well.

Default For those of us who run lipos....

I inquired about lipos and the F10, this is what they said:

Maurice,

Thank you for contacting HPI Racing & Hot Bodies.

Due to the narrow size of the vehicle it will not accommodate traditional LiPo packs. You may need to find smaller packs that will fit the chassis. The current chassis will not accommodate square packs but later a chassis to accommodate those will be released.

I guess that means a longer wait until they release the hop-ups and larger lower chassis!

you can always use the orion 3400 Race pack which is designed for cars that use stick packs. This battery would be a perfect fit for it.

you just cant use the bigger brick packs like SMC, Thunderpower, Reedy, or similar ones

Just checked. On-line supplier has slipped the delivery date to mid-Aug. No biggie. It'll arrive just in time for my birthday...

Well, mines here.

Ordered it from RC Mushroom for $99.99, with EMS shipping it was an extra $52 (worked out to be Ģ88 (compared to the UK price being Ģ99)) but worth it as the order was placed on Thursday evening, and it turned up Monday morning!

Heres the pics:

From a quick glance over the part in the bag, theres two spur gears in the box, one quite small and the other quite big (for 4 cell and 6 cell running), and theres going to be two bodies (Type 014C for 4 cell, and Type 016C for 6 cell, the kit comes with 014C). The tyres don't have any markings on them at all, so will take some Bridgestone decals easily.

Oh yeah.... thanks RC Mushroom!

Build starts soon, waiting for paint and decals to arrive. Going for the Mark Webber Red Bull RB4 colours.
