ok

try out 27 or 28 tooth(48 pitch) pinion

as for the spur just keep it at 72 or you can also try out 75 tooth

hope this helps

If you ran out of "steam" half-way down the straight, then just go to a bigger pinion. Step up one tooth at a time to find which you feel suits you. If it was a long straight your talking about jump up two teeth and start there.

Just remember, it's nice to be fast down the straight, but the race is won in the corners. So don't overgear.

so i gotta ask....what all did you have to do to make that spool???(email me what you did if you don't want anyone to know it!) :batman:

PaZ 12-06-2005 08:33 AM

well theres the easy way that i did it then theres his " modified " version of mine lol i dont trust plastic diffs i melt them to easily :D its simple to make how long does it take you to take out and put back a diff? theres ya built time lol

anthony390 12-06-2005 03:17 PM

still testing for durability

but i think the steel ones would be better

the reason i am trying plastic is so i can have it as lite as possible for INCREDIBLE SPOOL UP

oh ya you know the blue rings around the outdrives that is seen in the picture u might want to use them if ur gonna use my spool(its a plastic spool thats why)

everybody knows the team losi rally weapon right!?
well your gonna need the o-rings(2 o-rings) that go over the bearings(the bearings for the diff. outdrives)

one of the two o-rings will go in the ring gear(the side with teeth)

and the other one goes on the oppisite end

you know what this will take to long so ill just post some pics for every step
K?
