MINE WORKS PERFECT

Aries326 12-07-2005 12:12 AM

anthony, are you racing with it or drifting with your spool? Hey, some guy in the classifieds is selling a pair of aluminum hubs and a spool for $30. Why don't ya pick it up?

anthony390 12-07-2005 06:44 AM

what do u mean pick it up   sorry henry

but ya i am doing both with it racing(front spool) and drifting(rear spool)

but i dont always drift with it because i cant get enough angle as i can with a ball diff

Duuuuuuuuude those blue o rings look smooth i aint got them i didnt think you could run them on TC3 diffs i saw them on a Pro 4 and wanted them lol i might ave to look into some one day

newera152 12-07-2005 02:08 PM

how does the front and rear kick up work, I don't know how they will help proformance. I see the marking F-0+6 how do I us them.

also I have also had problems with diff rear melting I did many adjustments and it kept happening.I have since changed to steel and waiting for the new alum very light and stronger one to come in stock. any help.

i was asking if they would fit? ... and well if it does then you need that for my plastic spool

i run a costum rings(about the same as the blue ones) on mine so the out drive wont slip or spread form the stres of the metal pins of the cvd

sorry  but who were you talking to?

PaZ 12-07-2005 03:40 PM

dude dont run lightweight ally ones i had the IRS ones in stock and they wear to buggery quicker than u can do a lap lol i got the TC4 lightweight steel ones much cheaper and dont warp as easilly ill show u a pix of the IRS ones after season's racing and i only race once a week

I use a steel spool :p i used a plastic one and melted it together cause the bolt loosened lol

anthony390 12-07-2005 04:08 PM

i know i hate those IRS alloy ones because of what every ones said( bends or warps) but i never used them and dont plan to :D

so ya i use plastic ones so that means mine is like 75% lighter then your steel one :p

hehehe... Why don't you buy the IRS aluminum spool and front knuckles off the guy in the classified section?

Anyway, I had the same problem when I was running the spool in the back so I'm strictly ball diffs in front and rear right now. I may try the front one-way again this spring. Hey, Anthony, how tight do you have your diffs?

anthony390 12-07-2005 05:13 PM

like i said i dont like irs ones because of there weak strength  :D

and well i cant right now because somthings going on with my bro.(mad coz of work)

and r u talking about how tight my BALL diffs are for drifting

P.S. Henry you got PM

newera152 12-07-2005 05:21 PM

I'm talking to anyone that will offer help, I'm running steel diff f+r and they seem to work fine, so I should stay with them? :ha:

anthony390 12-07-2005 07:49 PM

yes unless that is you know how to use the plastic ones properly

if so you can use them but i would just stay with the steel ones

if you can get lightened steel ones then go with that

and well i have a ? too

does ANYBODY know how much lighter is the lightened steel diffs are compared to the regular steel ones?

Thanks
