Well, took my tc3 out for its first run since getting it last spring....WOW this thing is fast as my old pede with a stock motor :ha: ..... this ones a keeper :sneaky:

in other ideas: can u use a ntc3 chassis to build a e-tc3 with

scotty5555 11-29-2005 05:49 AM

http://www.speedtechrc.com/store/ebp...?catmainid=453

theres the P-DUB bumpers.

u dont need the NTC3 chassis, its to heavy for the electric. u can get a graphite one, its stronger and i think its weight is less

anthony390 11-29-2005 03:45 PM

K thanks

Has anyone tried using BUGGY rims and a truck body on there tc3  if so, how did it work

Aries326 11-30-2005 05:34 AM

There's a thread somewhere that details a conversion kit to turn the TC3 to an offroader. The kit is pretty expensive and it isn't worth it. It was suggested to me to just go out and buy a buggy if that's what I want to have next. But for around $60, you can buy that kit from TowerHobbies to turn your car to a rallycar. That isn't too bad.

ive seen people with TC3's run Truck shells and its was great but im not sure about the buggy wheels

anthony390 11-30-2005 05:49 PM

does super glue stick to the grey ring gear?

and what is the difference with the gray and white gear

Thanks

PaZ 12-01-2005 10:55 AM

the white is newer i think i got white throughout the car as the superglue i surpose so

anthony390 12-01-2005 03:30 PM

no difference in material or strenght

PaZ 12-01-2005 03:59 PM

maybe its a bit stronger but ive never or seen anybody damage or break those gears, yeah they will wear down a bit over time but never just let go. plus the white ones look cooler. I can get the old grey colour anymore its all been replaced by white spose its the new thing?

anthony390 12-01-2005 05:42 PM

oh ok

welll guess what.............................................. ...................................?

you know your homemade spool (taking out the 12 ballbrearing in the ring gear and tighten it)

because you know how the ring gear slips a bit if try to move the ring gear and the outdrives dont move but the gear moves

i just improved it  (originated from your idea  but also did some of MY modications) to even 99.8%(my spool) all the time compared to a spool(100%) :sneaky:

but i havent got a chance to run it yet

ill tell you how it goes tonight or tomarrow :D

PaZ 12-02-2005 05:11 AM

 i am charging for pepole who use or modify my idea :sneaky: have you noticed that on the plastic diffs there are 4 circles on both parts that you can drill out so that you can use bolts to make a solid diff

anthony390 12-02-2005 06:34 AM

LOL

ya i did that once and the plastic broke and then the screw few out ,andspinning around in my diff case and then i here CRRRRRRAHGAKFVAKXBUN(gears eating up)

i opened my diff case and well the screw that came out got coaght in my bevel gaer and my ring gear...
