RC Square Delfrin diff halves
any of you guys running the RC Square delrin BLACK diff havles...find that you have to shim the diff to reduce end play?
anyone using the white delrin diff halves? |

Ok, trying this again.
I am currently running a TC3 with the BMI chassis conversion. My car is handling quite well but I want quicker change of direction which I think adding a sway bar front and rear will give. Anyone who has added a sway bar front and rear to there setup, how did it affect handling? I tried one in just the rear and it actually had MORE rear traction as the rear didn't want to swing out in the turns, but it wasn't like a normal push. |

Cain the reason it gave the rear more traction having the bar in the rear, is because the swaybar keeps the rear from transfering as much weight to the front during cornering by lessing the body roll.

The white ones are exactly the same as the AE ones as the Black ones need shimming. This frees up the drivetrain even more. I beleive teh right way to do it is to have more shims on the left than the right. This pushes the gear to the right to free it up. Not to much or you will strip the gear, so shims on the right is needed as well. So far so good. This outdrives are awesome!!! Then even include an extra hole so when the first pair wear down you can move it to the extra hole. Like two outdrives for the price of one. Defintley an imporvement over the AE ones. i figured it was something like that, but my terminology is not that good. A usual grunt will do the job :D
May have to look into those diff halves... What have you guys done on a stock TC3 to free up the drive train without installing new parts. I have heard of sanding, but I don't where to begin with that. |

Will the warpspeed cases make a good difference? I may also buy a set of new bearings as these are getting alittle worn. |
In my opinion, Yes...very much. They really free up the stock drivetrain and the helicoils also add strength to the screw holes, which tend to strip over time from hard hits and also from continually loosening and tightening the screws in the diff case.

Front Bumper brace
Has anyone done any mods to add a top bumper brace. I find that my RPM bumper always tend to bend down every after race. Besides not hitting any thing, any suggestions on how to keep the bumper UP?

All you need to do is boil some water and then dip it in and bend it back. It works great. No brace needed! :D
