Nitro is a different beast then the Electric. Plus a lot of dirt and fuel.

What exactly does the Ntc3 steering mod do?

Replaces a steering system prone to dirt and grit causing steering problems with a steering system that does not have that problem ...

But ...

It also weakens the chassis to the point that an upper deck and side braces are almost a must have ...

also ...

You have to be absolutely accurate with your measurements when drilling holes or your steering geometry will be off.

I haven't done it yet, but I think the NTC3 rack adds Ackerman and/throw and requires less maintenance.

I have milled the chassis and that makes a huge difference in weight transfer speed. I think the chassis was more balance when it first came out years ago because the batteries were lighter than the current 3300's.

Ken,

Don't know anything about the IRS setup, but there are people here who drive them. Maybe check with RC-Zombies (he's posted recently, pm him).

Yeah, batts keep getting heavier and electronics keep getting lighter!!!

The ntc3 rack adds ackerman, too much with the stock steering hubs, however if you used it with NTC3 front suspension it works pretty well.

Does anyone know someone out there selling milled chassis' or know someone I can send my chassis to to have it milled. I'd like to try the batteries moved in closer to the shaft but I don't have the equipment to make the mod myself.

Thanks

DOTMAN... I have the tools to do it now... I jsut got my Drill Press last night. Shoot me a e-mail. [email protected]. We can discuss it and I can send you a picture of the chassis I did last night.

Hey guys, when I see a lot of the pro's cars, instead of using the foam to space out the battery, they use a seperate battery cell. Is there any balance reasoning to it? Isnt the battery side already heavier?

Thanks
