I like the formula tuned cause you can rebuild and replace the brushes plus the 32 has an aluminum endbell and better cooling.

Decided to ditch the 64p set up and go with a metric. Bigger tooth space. Runs real smooth and she's running the fastest I've ever ran.

Default Weak Point

I had a bit of a bad day with my 104 yesterday. Did the spur and front king pins for sure. I guess that makes the local hobby shop happy. More items on order.

I did find after some inspection that the front upper arms, while not being broken, were indeed bent.. Almost into a V shape. I have a feeling that this is possilbly a piece that needs a little more rigidity. Anyone else find this? or am I the only one bumping the walls?

I'm really trying to get the 104 working ok. I love my 103, and I just can't seem to get this one hooked up as well.. Early days yet though. I'm not giving up....

Other cars brake their front uprights when they bump into walls so its better with a bent upper arm.You can finish the race and it just takes a lighter to straighten it out again.

Default Electrics

I know this has been asked before. But can someone give me recommendations on Lipo and a speedcontrol that works well with it.

I really want to explore lipo and new speedcontrol to complement the F104 that I am building. Hey if F1 is sophisticated why can't my RC car be as well.....

Oval shaped 2S Lipos fit best, either Orion or Reedy

And this or the new LRP SXX of the week

Sounds like my race day a month ago. Wrecked the spur and bent the front upper arm in the main. It is weird that the arm bends into that V shape, but it's better than breaking. The softer plastic might work to create more grip, but then again on my car the front always has way to much grip.
