Guys I need some help.

I'm half way thru installing my F104, I find that the spur wobbles! Is this common?

Thanks.

Yes, there is a bit of "float" if you will in the spur gear, nothing to be alarmed about

Everyone's waiting for the F60 with baited breath... and HPI sneaks in under the radar with not one, but two new body styles... the 2008 Renault, and the 2009 Toyota

I always wonder WHY! Tamiya doesn't come up with bodies like this from HPI or other manufacturers wherein the bodies are almost exact replicas

Actually this kit is very durable. I only got spurs and 1 set of front arms which till now have no need to change it.

Even after a hard crash, the upper arm was bend alittle which a little re-bend should be ok already ..

After our second F1 Point Series race, a fellow racer bent one of the upper arms and turnbuckle after a brush with the boards. Get spare front end parts and maybe Ti turnbuckles.

I have only had one race day with my F104Pro and I used the 104t spur gear with the stock 25t pinion and kit motor. However, I just purchased a spur gear adapter http://www.3racing.hk/products.php?products_key=3553 that will allow me to use any 64 or 48 pitch spur gears. The Tamiya gears work fine, however, they just don't seem to be readily available.
