Default 528 mod questions

Hi everyone,

Is the super charge boost level = more timing on top of AMTS.

If yes, Does anyone know what is the actual timing boost from stage 1 to max?

Many thanks

Now can this version be upgraded in terms of software? And how many drive profiles does it have? Ive had the best luck with LRP in the past and Im hoping to have the same smoothness here. Plus the smaller footprint of this esc will be good because theres not much room under the shell on the car. very tight space.

Any other feedback is good to hear, Im new to the brand.
Yes it can be upgraded. I've got the GT2.1 in my 22.
There is a specific Offroad thread if you have any more questions related....

Look at my setup on the SP website from Sept 25, 2010.

Get the FDR closer to 5.8-6.0 and increase #15 setting to -4 or -5. Should be a safe starting point and adjust from there.

Hey guys, now my BL system is magically working again, I have a few questions. First, can the Ultra Sportsman v2 be taken apart for things like bearing cleaning and/or replacement and how? Actually, that's the only question for now. Thanks!

Yes...V2 can be open up. However, I doubt you can change bearing...cause once you have the bearing removed, the new bearing that you are going to put back in might be loose...it might, cause I never tried it.

yes, once you open up the motor, you can do whatever you want to keep up with it...like add bearing oil, thats about it.

Default SP V3.0 1 cell motors.

Hey all. Does anyone have experience with the new 1 cell motors. What differences do they have over the standard version 3 motors.

All they have is less punch...perfect for MOD or 12th scale.

Ummm not true for 1cell you need more power and punch.....the 1cell motors are built differently and have a little more power then the 2 cell motors. If you are looking for the better of the two motors the 1cell will be better.

What about if you were to use a "1 Cell" motor with 2 Cell Battery. Are there any drawbacks?

Hi all

I have a speed passion v2 lpf which I have never upgraded.

I have been racing for years at my club and although it's a very tight track (the longest straight is 15m) however we use 8.5 -10.5t motors in the fastest heat with our TC's

As you can expect a 10.5t usually wins as it's more consistant, as the infield is very tight so there is a lot of sharp corners where you scrub a lot of speed.

I was wondering, would a 13.5t boosted be a better solution? Keeping things smooth on the infield and boosting on the straight? Or would I just be too slow?

Also is boost useable on such a tight circuit? The straight is usually over in less than 1.5 secs?

Cheers
