What's the best STOCK software prior to the new supercharger stuff? I am now using 100110_STOCK. Is this best for small/medium asphalt tracks with a 17.5 or should I be using a different version? I will be using it for RCGT which the rules state "Any ESC/firmware without boost". Thank you...

110 with max timing on the ESC and mechanical timing on the ESC geared in the 7's always worked well for me, course you could run the latest firmware with Turbo level on 1 (OFF) lol.

The LPF is a little bit lighter and is more prone to heating up, running higher turn motors means more heat, enough heat means melting the solder inside the speed controller which also means a dead speedo.

Its like using thinner guage wire, you save weight but you generate more heat so you use the smallest you can safely get away with to save the weight without melting things down. Some people use the LPF to save weight (and some money) because they know there not going to run that low a turn of motor.

Honestly I wouldn't use a speedo like the GT2.0 or a Tekin RS to run a mod motor with anyway. I find older speed controllers will acctualy turn a mod motor faster than the newer speedo's with the boost capability, there also cheaper to get your hands on.

The best Mod Speed controller i ever had was one of the original Speed Passion Fiego Brushless/Brushed speedos. I sold it to a local for $30 because he wanted to go from a brushed setup to brushless as cheaply as possible and I wasn't running mod anymore

Guys. I have a big offroad race this weekend and am not sure if I will run 13.5 super stock or mod class with a 9.5. Has anyone found a way to run 528 with a mod and figured out a way to turn the Supercharger settings off? I won't be able take my laptop so...
If I turn SC boost to OFF and SC full throttle to OFF...will this do it? I would like to be able to show up with just 528 installed.

Well I run on road but I can a 9.5 in the mod class I was just a tick slower on the strait but on the in field I think its just a fast. I think some of my lack of speed on the straigh was me not having the right FDR but I really like the 528sc software really make its nice not having to run a 4.5 thats just a bit to much for me to handle

What length is the shortest sensor harness that SP offers? What is the shortest length that anyone offers? I am looking for a short, flexable TC setup, the shorter the better.

Thanks,

Steve
