So you're in Hawaii now, Paul? I can think of worst places to be...lol.

What's your secret set-up on the Photon and Tekin ESC?

Yeah George...It's rough over here but some one has to do it.

I'm very close to EJ's Reedy setup w/324 front springs.

RS settings are:
18 drag
10 neutral
profile 3
cutoff 2
timing boost 25
turbo full
delay .3
17.5 Duo 0* timing on can
FDR 5.0

13.5 FDR is 6.9, same settings.

Most are running these RS settings, give it a try and LMK if you have a faster setup

I too strongly preferred a battery strap to tape on my old car. But on the Photon, using the battery tape TOP Racing USA sells, I'm satisfied with tape. One strip lasts about 10 batteries.

Myself, Michael, Juan, and Josh Cyrul were at the KO Race.

I finished 6th in 13.5:

1) Barry Baker
2) Rick Howart
3) Keven Hebert
4) Randy Caster
5) Ling Tong
6) EJ Evans

Josh Cyrul qualified 3rd in Modified (behind Baker and Lemiux) matching fast lap of 12.2. However he had some bad luck in the mains and didn't finish as well as he hoped. Overall our cars were pretty good. One more day of practice and I'm sure we could have gotten them even better.

Good to hear your car is dialed Paul! However, I think you need a little more toe out.

I love the axle ring. You don't have to use a set screw anymore. Also, I think it actually frees up the universal without a setscrew. Maybe I'm imagining this...not sure. LOL

I've never had a problem with pins falling out of the axle, but if you have then this option is a must.
